Robert Carter of The StratonHunter Group Inducted into the OHI Hall of Fame

TORONTO, ON – October 2, 2023 – The StratonHunter Group is proud to announce that Robert Carter has been inducted into the OHI Hall of Fame. This distinguished recognition is presented annually to a select group of leaders who have made significant contributions to Ontario’s hospitality and culinary sectors.

The OHI Hall of Fame Award winners will be announced at the Ontario Hospitality Conference on October 2 in Toronto. This event marks the first induction since 2018 and further cements the collaborative vision between the Ontario Restaurant Hotel & Motel Association (ORHMA) and the Ontario Hostelry Institute (OHI).

With a distinguished career spanning over two decades, Robert Carter is known across Canada and beyond as a leading food retail strategist and consumer behaviour expert. During his time with both The NPD Group and The StratonHunter Group, he has been instrumental in fostering growth, innovation, and strategic transformation. Over the years, he has had the pleasure of working alongside many of the largest, most respected brands in the Canadian food and foodservice landscape, including Loblaws, Uber Eats, Tim Hortons, Starbucks, and McDonalds, among others. A prominent figure in the industry, he is also known for his contributions through industry events, trade shows, columns, and appearances in the media.
