Matt Rosen is a highly accomplished Chef and consultant with over 25 years of extensive experience across diverse restaurant categories, including fine dining, casual, QSR, and catering. His deep-rooted passion for food and hospitality began early in his career, working in professional kitchens from the age of 18 and training at the esteemed Stratford Chefs School under some of Canada’s leading chefs.

Driven by a desire to understand food’s integral role in everyday life and how to maximize its potential, Matt’s culinary philosophy emphasizes simple flavours that truly celebrate the quality of ingredients. He finds immense joy in cooking for others and continuously explores innovative ways to utilize ingredients.

A proven leader, Matt excels at collaborating with cross-functional teams to build and implement successful food-based programs. He possesses expertise in recipe and menu design, product development, team building and training, staff mentorship and empowerment, cost control, and kitchen design. Recognized as a #lambassador for True Aussie Lamb and Meat & Livestock Australia, Matt is also passionate about teaching and developing talent within the hospitality industry.
